Guest TheMegaMan Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 I've been having a few problem with Bluetooth between by Desire (rooted on MCR r9) and my new car's BT system. It pairs OK, but whenever it disconnects (leaving the car, for example), it refuses to just reconnect and I have to go through the pairing process again. A real pain. I don't think the car itself is a fault here, as it works fine with my old Nokia, so it's either the Desire or an incompatibility between them. I've since seen comments from a few others about pairing issues with headsets, etc, that sounds familiar. Looking back, it looks like one of the ealier MCR revisions seemed to fix known Bluetooth issues, but this update seems to have since been lost in newer ROMs. Is this true? And does anyone have any solution to this problem? An update I can add to MCR r9? Switching to non-MCR ROMs (although I quite like Sense)? Does Gingerbread hold the answer? Any comments or advice gratefully received! Thanks, Adam. PS. I wonder whether this was my my Sony Ericsson LiveView was so poor. And there was me blaming SE...
