Orange UK or Tele2 Sweden?

Morning,

Still making up my mind on where to buy. Seems to be many people who are really hacked off with everything that Orange has piled on to the phone. I know you'll all tell me how easy it is, and that it's on of the first things that I should do, but I don't feel overly confident about messing about with ROMs etc.

I'm off to Sweden later in the week, and with that in mind, I'm wondering if a better bet might be to buy the phone from tele2 (around £160 at current ex. rate). Thinking that they won't have filled the phone with rubbish, and therefore it might run a bit better.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, esp from those who have bought the blade from other operators.

Cheers.

I was a complete newbie to android and have never even considered messing with a mobile phone before I got my SF. I just followed the step by step guide and was truely amazed at how easy it was to change the rom.

That said my teenage daughter is still on the original orange rom and she does not find it a problem - her phone is not as fast as mine but everything works so unless you really want to be playing around with it I would just recommend the SF from Orange as there will be thousands of people using one who would not consider messing with the roms etc.

I would get it on Orange just to save money :D

Just build yourself up to installing a custom ROM when you get used to the phone :P

you will be paying more and it will be a pain in the arse to replace if it goes faulty. I dont see the benefit in it at all!

Thanks for all your advice! I think it'll be a trip to Orange in the next day or too. Then when I have more confidence and time, I'll start having more of a play around.
