Root without usb

Hello everyone

Is it possible to root a device that has no (it's broken) usb port? It's a T-mobile pulse which was updated to 2.1, but never rooted before. We got a wall charger for the battery, but not beeing able to read the logs sucks. :P

Any ideas?

Greetings

Install z4root (http://www.mediafire.com/?e9dax5st4bn02xi) and click root. Then install ROM Manager from the market and install ClockworkMod recovery. Then you'll be able to install ROMs like FLB-MOD, CyanogenMod, ...

Find z4root and install it. root your phone with z4root and then install rom manager from market. open rom manager and flash clockwork mod. then you'll be able to install custom roms

propably should have started with an "I already tried these" list :P

z4root did not work, it said device not supported, I tried the 2 latest versions. The newest does a fancy popup (device not supported), the older ones just fail

All I needed was root acces so I can read the logs(via wifi Adb)...but it's not working. Adb is connected, I can run programs from eclipse, I can see running applications, I can even debug apps. Still, the log does not work.

It should list Huawei Pulse. If you can't find it I believe you can do it through adb.
