email app

i have my phone synced with our exchange server, and it's set to 1week sync period.

however i'm getting email back as far as 12th-jan-10 (about the time when i installed JJ rls 8).

now it doesnt seem to be causing issues, but is this working the way it's ment to?

i'd expect the 1week sync period to remove emails older than 7days and no longer display it.

... maybe the 1week is just for the sync period, so initial sync and if the phone is off for longer than 1 week...

Think the email app in JJ is not stock, it's from the CyanogenMod I believe. Either way I had big problems trying to use it with exchange, it wouldn't sync changes back to phone, i.e. if messages were removed in Outlook they would remain in my Blade's inbox. Changed to a ROM with the stock email client (Paul r11 then FLB 8a) and the email now works great. Yes, I possible ability to move mail between folders (which did't work for me) but my mail is now reliable.
