2.2 to StreakDroid

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to upgrade from 2.2 to StreakDroid. I have an O2 Dell Streak, its now unlocked by O2.

I have rooted the device and tried everything but can't get it to install.

Step by step would be appreciated.

First you need to install either clockworkmod or StreakMod recovery. Link to streakmod - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840326

Download the Streakdroid 1.7.0 zip file and put it in the root of your sd card. Create the install.txt file based on what options you want installed. Follow the instructions -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=909263 or the streakdroid post here at modaco.

Turn your Streak off then holding both volume buttons turn it on. Continue to hol the volume keys till the stock recovery screen comes up. Choose the option to update via the update.zip file from sd card. Screen will flash a couple times and show a Dell logo with exclamation point. Hit the power button to view the streakmod options. choose the option to flash from update.zip on sd card then choose option to browse sd card for file. Select the streakdroid file you put on your sd card and hit the camera button to start the update and away you go.

Basically follow the two guides already created in the Streakmod and Streakdroid post and you are on your way.
