Guest scoobydoo99 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 Bought a 5th Blade, one of my tft's has the dodgy digitiser problem. With the latest tft Blade, I thought I'll register the Orange sim this time and stick a few callc on it, in case it also gives problems. I bought it from Argos, so it came with the top up voucher. Tried to register the new sim to get the £10 credit on www.simregister.co.uk but it won't recognise the phone number that Orange sent me in an sms - says it's the wrong format :P So I tried to call Orange customer services on 450, but you need credit to speak to them - LOL. I'm obviously not bright enough to be an Orange customer :D

Guest Doc Rumack Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 but it won't recognise the phone number that Orange sent me in an sms - says it's the wrong format :P I just went through this. Had to enter the number in the domestic format (07779nnnnnn) not the International format as sent in the Orange SMS. Doc.

I'm obviously not bright enough to be an Orange customer  I think they've been having problems with the registration - when I put mine in it said it hadn't gone through and to call customer services, when I called them from a land line it said it was already processing! On the topup part I managed to be special by going through applyvoucher.com (bought from ADVERTISING SPAM) - and the email confirmation that came back was blank! It did get added fine though :D That said, I won't be using Orange past the topup bought with the phone as had very unpleasant experiences with them when ending contract (due to poor signal where I live) - only reason for this is the phone itself!
