"Flash write fail..." in QDLTool

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

My streak died, tried to resurrect with QDLTool.

After installing and connecting successfully, QDLTool says, "Flash write fail..:." after writing the USERDATA part.

After "factory reset" boot loop occurs again!

Here is the problem with my Streak!

Interesting, the internal SD tester passed the test!

What is happening? Maybe no partition on my internal SD? Where is the solution? Hardware issue?

The log:

"

if your getting write fail it suggests an issue with the flash mem, but if you look in device manager youll see the adb driver referred to,

What do yo mean? Where exactly?

I tested on two computers, same error, "Flash write fail" after "Start writing USERDATA".

I had installed the R288920.exe and when the Streak switched to the Fastboot mode the computer asked for the ADB Interface installation.

I accepted the "Automatic install..."

I would go into recovery (streakmod) and delete /data and /firstboot manually

try something like

adb shell

rm -fR /data/*

rm -fR /firstboot/*

or something

like in fastboot

fastboot -i 0x413c erase userdata

have you tried flashing a stock rom ?

Can you add the streakmod download link you mentioned?

I have tried to flash stock 2.2 and streakdroid also, no success.
