Guest swarrans Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 This is probably really basic, but is there an App or some other way of copying Contacts data from Outlook to my Vega? I thought I would just export a cvs file from Outlook and import it into gmail but my PC won't load the necessary MS files (genuine copy of Office 2000 that online updates have revised to Outlook 2002 - which I suspect is why my 2000 system disc won't load the requested files to do an export). Many thanks

Guest cleavepm Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 When i setup the default Email app to download my email it also asked about contacts and calendar. I think that is the simplest way. I use an app called gSyncit - runs as an Outlook plug-in and can be configured to sync on schedule or ad-hoc basis. Simple but effective.
Guest thewinst Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 (edited) Take a look at this ... http://www.companionlink.com/google/ I just used the free trial to tansfer/sync contacts and calendar entries to my google account. I haven't used outlook since and I had been using outlook for years :P ... This will do 2-way sync if required though... Hope that helps Lee Edited February 8, 2011 by thewinst
