Guest goatee Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 So, I did a factory / data wipe, and then formatted /system, in preparation for trying the CM7 ROM. However, when I first booted up, it had an old wallpaper of mine set as the wallpaper, a couple of random old apps installed (ROM Manager, Word Up), and even my home wi-fi connection. How come they weren't wiped along with everything else?

Guest goatee Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 You got those things backed up in your google account. I don't think so. . I disable the setting to back up to my Google account, and I thought that only included application data, as opposed to the apps themselves. . . no?
Guest HMZX Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 if you want a proper wipe go into settings>privacy>factory data reset that does the trick
