Hi

I ordered an orange sanfrancisco, used the guilde here to unlock it (which worked perfectly thanks!)

havent touched any roms, infact the only thing ive installed on it is angry birds.

Now i noticed when i went to pick it up from recharging that its stuck in a constant loop trying to perform the "Orangesetupwizard"

even when i complete the setup, it just loops back to it, ive also tried the power and volume down option to try to reset it, but that results in getting a white box saying: FTM

i do have access to the Usb contense when plugged into the pc, any help please :P

Thanks

If you have enough time use the device before the wizard pops up filling the screen again, the simplest solution I can think of is to ROOT your phone (voids warrenty! but essential for installing new roms and debranding etc.)

Then from the android market install either "titanium backup" or "root unistaller"

Then just simply uninstall the orange set up wizard, it should bother you no longer.

If you do not wish to root the phone then im sure someone more clever has a solution.

If you can get to the settings menu do a factory reset/restore :P

Has any solution been found in the meantime? I have the same problem now. Thing is, once the loop started, no other application but those with symbols in the top bar (eg sms, 3g watchdog) can be accessed, at least I don't know how. So I can't directly install anything to root / flash or anything (unless you can do that via usb cable and pc).

So can anything be done? Only thing I can think of now is throwing it away, I'd like to improve on that...

EDIT: Sorry, as total noob I wasn't aware that a TPT can be done from the sd card. If anybody has the same problem with the setup wizard, help can be found here
