Guest tzifos Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 Hi, I am using MoDaCo's R11 without any extra mod and I really like the interface/colors/display as is. The only thing I would like to change is the battery icon in the upper right corner in the bar. I would like to have an icon that display also the percentage of the remaining battery. Is this possible? and how?

You need to pick which one you like and upload your framework-res as in the instructions, or you can follow Frankish's guide and do it yourself. Edited February 9, 2011 by jt_mcg
Guest SqueakyG Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 (edited) Now that the modaco r12 has been released prebake I am about to give it a try. I have really come to like the circle battery indicator available for Japanese Jellyfish, and I will need the same thing or something similar in modaco r12. Option 1: Use the http://circle.glx.nl/ website that cooks new battery indicators for people. But it keeps failing for me. I upload the framework-res.apk from Modaco r12, and it always gives an SHTF error when trying to cook it. What can I do about that? The website offers Modaco r10 as a working preset framework-res.apk... should I try to get that cooked? I don't understand this process very well, but I imagine you have to be very specific about the framework-res.apk used... Option 2: Frankish has made several threads for themes that work with the modaco ROM, and some of them have percentage battery indicators. EDIT: this is what I have gone for. At first I didn't like that they were all Gingerbread themes (I like white notification bar), but then I realised that MCR r12 is Gingerbread themed anyway. Edited February 14, 2011 by SqueakyG
