I've got the dodgy wifi problem with my san francisco, it gets 2 bars next to the router and then drops out when you move about 5 meters away. I've tried the orange customer services number but it asks for an orange phone number.

I use a giffgaff sim so i havent got an orange number, is there a different customer services number people have been using?

All the numbers you will need are on the orang website:

07973 100 450 from a landline should work. do you not have an orange sim hanging around though you might need to stick one in if you are taking it back to the shop

you dont have an account with them so they arent interested in you at all, you are going to need to get someone with an orange account to pretend to own your phone and stick their sim in it.

I too have had to replace my phone. I'm currently on my 3rd phone received yesterday, my phone number 4 arrives tomorrow.

First phone failed after 3 months - failed to charge.

2nd phone again failed to charge -

3rd phone the volume up button fails.

I've managed to get Orange to admit that replacement phones are reconditioned and could have issues. I am not too sure if I agree with this. The 2nd phone I believe was new the 3rd had a different cover over the screen and I believe is reconditioned.

By the way I am also no longer Orange. I use Tesco, they still talk to me . I did register my sim though
