Since upgrade to 2.2 my streak will not connect to my router. belkin F5d8231

please will people tell me what home router they use so i can replace mine with one that is compatable

Did you try deleting the wireless profile and reconnecting to the network??? Did you try a factory reset perhaps?? Entered the correct security key? It would help if you mentioned what you've tried so far.

The Streak should work with any router. There's no specific "compatible" routers as such.

streak finds my router but gets stuck on obtaining ip address.

Problems with Wifi connection is down to some routers being completely DHCP compliant and the phones hostname using a none DHCP compliant chara (underscore to be exact)

I have reset my phone 3 times, no luck

I have a really old router which i tried and it did connect no probs but it is toooooo old.

Try changing the channel on the router, our set a static ip in the streak wifi advanced menu

Fwiw we have the same router at work ( I think, at least the name is pretty close) and that works fine

If there is two Wifi available showing on your streak with the same name. Try to connect on both of them.

I think this happen to me twice before.That solves mine.

It is possible to change the hostname - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668300

You should also update the firmware in your Belkin router - http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid...27&scid=221

have already upgaded firmware on router,

also have tried a static ip that did not work, not 100% i did correct though so will try again.

I also have this problem. I have a AirLive router, tried changing channels, security settings, reboots and so on, nothing works.

How can one set static IP? Do i have to disable dhcp?

Not 192.168.0.X 192.168.1.X ?
