Orange San Francisco won't turn on - only vibrate!

Hey,

I sold my rooted SF on eBay recently, only to discover that the seller had to try and enter a Wavesecure PIN code, from the free trial that I used. Eventually the phone didn't even turn on, just went back and forth between the 'Modaco' and 'Android' logos on startup.

So I now have the phone back, and I had planned to re-flash and install Froyo 2.2.

Not getting too far, I just went to turn the phone on and it did come on. It asked me to input my PIN, which I did (may have been incorrect) then the phone turned off, and it won't turn on again, even when I press the volume up button on startup.

When I try to turn it on, the only sort of feedback I get at all is that it vibrates intermittently when I press the power button.

Does anyone know how I can rectify this? Is it bricked? I can't even use Clockwork on it now!

Charge the battery! - it's dead

Leave it at least 10 mins before trying to turn it on (while charging) or wait till it's fully charged

I feel like such an uber n00b right now... LOL!

I assumed the PC USB connection was charging it. Thanks a lot Lew! :P

I just did the exact same thing. I was crapping myself. I thought it can't be the battery is been plug into the computer all morning.
