Guest DasTisu Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 (edited) Do you have Malez recovery? Try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=918005 and flash with Malez. Edited February 10, 2011 by DasTisu
Guest khamees79 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Hi Thanks for the links. but still I have problem I installed this from recovery, but when I start the phone, No market icons, and with root explorer I can see VENDING under System/apps I deleted vending with ROOT explorer, then copied it again from the zip file, and places it in System/Apps, but still it does not show up. I had an old version yesterday, that I managed to push with adb, but I had no luck even. Hope you can point to me what is wrong here. As I said, A1, Eclair ROM, rooted with Malez recovery. Thanks again

Guest khamees79 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 No, it's not in the list not sure if this has anything to do with ROOT, but I'm sure it's rooted, as Titanium Backup works fine.
Guest DasTisu Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Then try a ordinary install. Put the apk on the SD-card, and with any file explorer; go to the file and just click it and install.

Guest khamees79 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 What file explorer do you use? Try ES File Explorer. I have just tried that, same error message :P Can not understand why they remove Market in a stock ROM
Guest khamees79 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Well, I found this way on an Arabic forum, I do not understand what I was doing, but it WORKS We will use the files in this FOLDER Get your device Rooted Install ES File Explorer , Terminal Emulator, and Busy Box (Busybox must be run too) . Move Vending.apk ,MarketUpdater.apk to System/App using Root Explorer Copy these 4 files to the root of SD card market1-back2you.apk, market1-back2you.txt , market2-back2you.txt , market2-back2you.apk Copy the contents of market1-back2you.txt ( using ES) into the Emulator , restart the Emulator, and copy the contents of the second txt file Phone will restart , Market is installed. Hope this helps. Now time to see some ass getting kicked in Egypt with my Arabic enabled phone :P
