Loudspeaker stopped working

Hi,

The loudspeaker on my Blade/San Francisco has stopped working possibly as a result of me dropping the phone on my desk. The earpiece is still OK for phone calls, and it plays music through the headphones, but it means the phone doesn't ring any more.

Has anyone had a similar problem, and/or know if there's a way of fixing it?

(unlocked from Orange, running Froyo/Japanese Jellyfish, although it feels like a hardware issue)

Probably best to go to an independent phone repairer/unlocker. My local shop replaced the speaker in my Blade for £25.

The Speaker is stuck into the front part of the case, it has 2 contact points that push against 2 pins on the mainboard.

It could be that re-seating the front of the case will fix it.

However if this scares you - go to a repair shop.
