dear team,

i currently have the following setup:

htc desire

modaco r9

a2sd+

kingston class10 16gb partitioned

when i connect to my PC for sync via USB my PC keeps constantly loosing the connection

as if something in the ROM turns USB on/off

making any sync impossible

i have no problems at all if i mount the SDHC with my recovery image via USB to my PC...

with a2sd+ is it even possible to use USB data transfer anymore?

does the phone "eject" the whole SDHC or just the FAT32 partition???

what is a2sd good if i can sync only by WIFI - i have tons of music on my phone... :P

thanks for your support!

best,

alwin

A2SD+ (or any other script) leaves the EXT partitions alone. The phone only mounts FAT partitions.

Could it be that you've installed some apps/widgets that reside on your FAT partition or use the SD card? That would cause the card to be unmountable.

well,

let's say whenever i usb plug my "beautiful widget" goes back to factory layout

otherwise everything else stays just fine

before when using the android native app2sd i crashed most of my widgets when connecting usb...

could it be some CPU Tuner or else widget is fooling around with the mounting??

i can broiwse through all folders and even listen to the mp3 on my phone via PC

it only seems to crash when i try to copy something to the phone SDHC...

actually if i see that right its not disconnecting but just plain slow... (400kb/s)?

still blazing fast by direct recovery mount of the SDHC

any idea? anything screwing with the transfer speed (sequential r/w):

when connecting USB through MODACO r9:

read: 2.541 MB/s

write: 0.375 MB/s

when connecting USB through ClockWorkMod recovery:

read: 12.90 MB/s

write: 4.590 MB/s

when connecting directly through PC SDHC Card Slot:

read: 10.57 MB/s

write: 7.666 MB/s

thanks for your support!
