Has anyone else been getting this error? Up until now I've been able to send messages fine, but all of a sudden it's really intermittent. What's stranger is that the message sometimes goes through even though it reports it failed. I text someone and while I was trying to resend the message (because it supposedly failed), they had already replied!

I'm praying it's not faulty hardware. Have already returned one so would probably look for another phone if that was the case... Maybe ZTE have upped the build quality for the newer TFT models? I'd happily take the "lesser" screen if that were to be the case!

Android 2.1 (Seb404 r6 ROM)

Tesco Mobile

Signal is fine - doesn't seem to be related to low signal. Happens even with full 3G+ .... :/

Cheers,

:P

Got this when testing Cyanogen

Only seemed to notice it when losing / switching signal (From T-Mobile to Orange or for 2g to 3g with a long delay)

I really don't think it's a hardware fault, more likely a network / provider issue :P

Has happened with me on o2 - more when using the orange stock rom and default sms app. I think it's signal issues at times. I now use Seb's 2.2 rom and GoSMS as haven't had this problem for a good while now fingerts crossed!

Most sms faults are network related not rom related

O2 has intermittent sms faults - it has for a few days now

and if I remember right Tesco mobile uses o2's network

Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds like the general consensus is that it's a network issue, so I'm sure that's it. Would certainly explain why it's only just started happening as I haven't been fiddling with the phone at all.

Dropped the data connection earlier as well. Reboot sorted it out.

And yes, Tesco use O2's network so if O2 are having issues no doubt Tesco (and GiffGaff) will be...

I had problems sending SMSs with O2 yesterday for a couple of hours. O2 must have screwed up.
