i have arabic on 2.2 it comes pre installed

i had the gulf 2.1 i had given it to the lg service to update but you wont get android market its blocked instead they have something called slide me market place which is not even near the android market soo i swiched to europe 2.1 and now 2.2

I use the 2.1 Europe V20B ROM and installed Smart Keyboard Pro and an arabic dictionary and now I can read and write arabic but the characters are disconnected.

I have contacted LG few weeks ago and they said that there will be an Arabic 2.1 very soon. Still waiting.
