Just for installing the ROM....

I did the 2.2 update with KDZ....but the 2.3/1.3 file is 7z, and is not picked up by KDZ

The 7z file is an archive file like zip and rar and needs to opened beforehand, i recommend downloading 7zip `h t t p://www.7-zip.org/' to open that archive.

Then use the kdz program to open the 2.3 rom.

Installed on my GT540 last night , much better than the 2.2.1 FroYo lookalike Gingerbread , the font was annyoing me !

+Very fast

+Liking those lock animations

+Actually realises that i'm on Three , others think i'm on Orange because of the Three - Orange roaming agreement..

+Very useable

+Google sent me an email saying 'Welcome to Nexus S' :)

-Use of ADW Launcher , I'd prefer the official Gingerbread Launcher

-Camera , If anyone could port the official LG Camera app from 2.1 , Brilliant :)

-Honeycomb Music app won't install :'(

Does anyone have the LG Camera App? I really liked it :D i'd be very grateful if someone had it

And does anyone have any suggestions as to install the Honeycomb music app? or -

How to revert to Gingerbread Launcher :)

I have a bug with a quiet ring tone. I set the ringing volume to the max, but when the phone rings, it's very quiet.

Yep....I'm gonna be going home and installing it this evening....

Having done 2.2 last week, it shouldn't be a prob.

no man....thats only for devices below 2.1 nd btw update to 1.3

Because the newest version doesn't have adw launcher.It has the original instead.

Thanks , done it :D Not much difference apart from that , but anyway :D

Thats only when you are in landscape mode + media , LG changed it so the arrows actually were like up and down when in landscape mode ,

but this fix has not been applied to CM , which is good as it is annoying . :)
