Too bad I cant root.... :D I downloaded and tried all 3 uroot/universal root apps onto my SD. I even tried downloading them via the phones browser. Buuuut when i opened them with Astro and tried to install them, but i couldn't. I get things like: "Could not open /sdcard/Roms/UniversalAndroot_1.6.1apk as APK file" Arghhh help! Many thanks to those who do! :P

Many thanks to those who do! :P Did you enable installing apps not from the Market? It's in Settings->Applications.

Guest amd3000 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Had the same problem with my other halfs white sf. sorted it by using Z4root. Put the file on the sd card and opened it with the already installed filer app. Job done :-)
