HI!

I`m having a big problem. I boght a new ADATA 4Gb Class 6 sd card. I tried to partition it with Amonra recovery (512Mb ext, 64Mb swap). After completing the partitioning tried to copy the rom`s zip, but windows 7 can`t recognise the fat32 partition, instead wants to format the swap partition. So I cant copy the zip on it. I tried to partition it with Rom manager, than manually using Partition Wizard, but it doesn`t worked too.

If someone knows how to partition it properly, please help. I`d like to flash CM AIO v6.

Get an ubuntu live cd and use gparted.

:P

Edit; But you will need a Micro SD to SD Converter.

http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

works fine for me and im on windows 7 makes partioning a card really easy :D and its free :D

Thanks for help. I tried both, partition wizard and gparted, but after flashing the cm rom, it runs slow, apps2sd doesn`t work and i think it doesn`t uses the swap partition. Sometimes i get an installation unsuccesful message, or phone reboots at the end of downolading apps from market. I had no problem with cm mod on my old class 2 sd card. I can`t remember how I partitioned it but it worked pretty fast with this rom (faster than any other rom). I have no idea what am i doing wrong. If anybody has any idea, I would appreciate it.

I set all as primary with a card reader.

flash armon-ra and part. your sd card with it. than install CWR and install CM. If it doesn't work your sd card may be broken.

I set all as primary with a card reader.

my swap and ext2 are set as logical and they work primary wont work with a2sd i think.

use the card reader again do a total format the WHOLE card then they start of making a fat32 then swap logical and then ext2 logical all should be fine then. unless like eckengucker1 says ur card maybe broken.

If i partitioning my sd with amonra, it makes it unreadable ``Can`t mount sd card message.``

Formatting with Partition Wizard can make it properly with these setings:

Fat32 = primary,

Ext2 = primary,

Swap = primary.

All the partitions are partitioned properly, (I followed many guides about partitioning) so I think the card is not broken but after flashing cm i ran `a2sd check` in terminal, and it says: sd partitin found but not mounted. I don`t know how to check the swap partition.

Maybe the problem is not with the partitions. I`ll try to format ext2 and swap as logical, but is think i tried it once, but this way didn`t recognised the ext2.

Yes, `error mounting ext` after formated as logical. But it works fine with primary

hmm crazy so all the partions are working now tho?

to check swap its "a2sd swapspace" will tell you the total space and free

Yes, all partitions works, but a2sd doesn`t.
