Profile manager mystery - android

Had to restore ROM on SF, losing all data. Had a really good profile manager app i was using and now i can no longer find it - maybe someone knows the one.

On opening app your were presenting five 5 boxes of text going down the page. And if you selected the first one you could select which profile you wanted active and i remember the last "box" out of the 5 was simply "Exit" to close app. And also the app couldn't be used landscape - i think!

Pretty sure it was simply called "profile manager", it was really good and simply - didn't go into brightness etc. was simply for ringtones and volume. Could i be that app has been removed from market!?

Please help! Cheers!

Hi

Although I'm new here, I've had an android phone for a long time so may be able to offer a bit of help.

Up until today I have been using 'Profile' (that's what it's called), but it seemed to keep messing up so I've just installed the free version of 'EasyProfile'.

Why don't you do a market search for 'profile manager' and try a few out? You may end up finding the one you used before - if it's still around.

I remember that app I used it before I discovered Profile:

http://www.appbrain.com/app/profile/com.noimjosh.profile

It has features I like such as switch profiles from status bar and being able to toggle vibrate for mms/sms (seems a feature missing from many other profiles managers). Price was reasonable so I bought it.

I don't know why the author discontinued Profile Manager, it was a good app..The author (Cube Innovations) still has some apps on the market:

http://www.androidzoom.com/android_develop...tions_betz.html

And their website has some apps but no mention of Profile Manager:

http://www.cubeinnovations.net/innovativethoughts.html

PM If you still want Profile Manager 1.0 I still have the apk - it's freeware so it shouldn't be an issue.
