Guest dave-o99 Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 After recently getting a white blade, i am trying to root, de-brand and upgrate it to 2.2. I've had limited results so far but there is one problem that doesn;t seem right, and i am hoping others will have some insight. I first noticed it when installing the USB driver for Bootloader mode. This mode is of course accessed by holding down the "up" volume button and turning the phone on. It boots to the image of the green android and then does nothing. None of the buttons have any effect. Considering that i was still able to flash it with clockwork using Fastboot (which apparently worked and did get the phone to restart when consoled to do so), i wondered if this was correct and that is how it is supposed to be. However, when on this android screen the phone will also not shut down, and the battery has to be removed to turn it off. This always seemed "wrong" to me. Now, after having flashed Clockwork, when i try to boot to Clockwork recovery (i.e. "down" volume and "on") it does the same - stays on the green android screen, and none of the buttons do anything. Seeing as the Clockwork instructions list keys such as up/down/home/back as having a use, this can't be right - right? It also won't turn off and has to have the battery removed. Any help please?

As the other thread is so long it is reasonable to think that not may people check it. Thaks for your suggestions though, i will try them.
