Maintaining Network Connection

Hi folks :D , first posting for me.

Picked up one of the OEM vega's off ebay at weekend and been playing with it ever since. It came with Market and Flash on board so other than download Apps I haven't tinkered too much with it yet. One of reasons I bought this was so my daughter could get her itouch back as I was using it as wireless controller to send music from our NAS drive to various streamers around house. Loaded the Twonky app (Twonky on our NAS) and everything works at treat and can stream content direct to Vega as well as targeting other devices.

My only problem is figuring out how to maintain the network wifi connection from Vega. Each time the screen times out the wifi connection seems to drop and I need to kill the app and start from scratch. I tried extending the screen timeout in display settings but not too convinced that this working properly as screen still seemed to black out after couple of minutes and wifi connection drops? Anyone any ideas or am I asking too much of Vega?

Cheers

The answer to all your prayers: Back Light Killer. Sets your back light to 0.01 and forces the tablet to not switch itself off. Works like a charm! :D
