Guest travellerscross Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Is there a way or an option to remove the listing in favourites. It's pretty much putting everyone I call in favourites which defeats the object. I really dislike that part and would love to find how to remove the 12 numbers in that list if possible?
Guest Dan Diplo Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 If, for some reason, you can't remove them via the phone interface then log in to http://www.google.com/contacts There you can remove any categorised as 'Starred in Android'. Next time it synchs it should copy this info.

Then I found all the numbers on the contacts. Was not happy about that ( that's another issue) and I deleted all contacts in google over the weekend (nothing in starred either). I decided to save the contacts list to SD card amongst other things and that stopped the duplicates on contact list. It appears dialer one doesn't give you the option to remove from favourites. Actually I tell a lie it does! Yet the second you remove from favourites it removes that name from your contact list as well. So that's not a good thing in my book. Fortunately it was just a case of importing the list again. So I am flummoxed as to why they don't give you an option to remove or change on there without it removing the same name in contacts. PITA really Edited February 14, 2011 by travellerscross
