random restart, after no apparrent changes made

Could anyone point to a cause / solution please?

After no change to my settings, updates or ROMs etc, my Streak occasionally restarts itself. Sometime restarting 5 or 6 times before it settles back to normal

I can't figure out why?

My Streak normally works like a dream, no problems.

i have factory reset and re-updated the update.pkg, although improved, still restarts occur

I can't figure out why?

I was having similar problems and I traced it back to WidgetLocker. After a factory reset and an upgrade to 1.7 I was able to download it again with no problems.

My phone does the same, it reboots randomly and gets stuck in a boot loop. I cant use the browser for more than 10 mins without it rebooting.

I was running stock o2 2.2 so I backdated to to o2 2.1, still the same so updated back to 2.2 and even without any additional apps installed the reboots occur.

I sent the phone back to o2 last week and on the repair tracker it says its on its way back to me with no fault found.

I dont understand how they cant fault it, its been fine for the first 4 months of use but now its vitrually unusable. More phone calls to o2 I guess once my phone gets back to me.

If anyone does know of any fixes I would be grateful. (its not the battery cover on this one as thats all OK)

Have same problems with my streak. Can't use internet, maps or play games for more than a few minutes without getting stuck in a reboot circle that can last from 1-10 cycles. Running streaksroid 1.8.1, but have had same problem with earlier versions. Started for me in australia, and I thought it might have something to do with the streak being sensitive to heat and overheating... but I don't know. Is almost making the phone useless and am planning to get new one because of it. :-\

It seems on Streak Droid 1.8.1 the problem is gone.

I've got the same issue, it seems to reboot over night a lot & is sometimes frozen at the white "dell" logo in the morning. I've tried looking into it, even got a new app killer to stop apps running over night but it hasn't stopped it.

I am using SetCPU but otherwise widgets/running apps are stock. I've just come to terms with the fact it happens!
