If you're talking about the headphones the best thing you can do is to flash DSPManager. The standalone apk you can find is not enough, you need a special lib file so that the DSP manager can work. It's pretty hard to find it but if you want i can provide an unsigned flash with it. That is only if you have rooted your phone and have a custom recovery image (Clockworkmod or AmonRA). The manager alone makes a ton of difference without even touching the settings but be aware that overdoing it (very high volume and agressive EQ can cause excessive clipping). After that if you're still not happy you can install a nice player like PowerAmp that has a great EQ.
