What happened to Facebook for HTC Sense?

As the title says really.

I just realised that it was missing and so I retrieved htcfacebook.apk from a previous ROM as I've done before but it still doesn't work. There is no 'facebook for HTC Sense' when adding accounts.

I don't like the official facebook app and I want to be able to sync updates in my contacts and view updates in the friendstream.

Anyone got a solution for this one?

I am still getting to grips with my dhd but from what I am seeing the HTC sense software works in conjunction with the standard Facebook app, not replace it.
