Guest MonkeyBoy451 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 It would appear that the standalone Adobe Flash updater is coming tomorrow for those not wishing to install the v1.09 patch and lose all their Modaco stuff. Tweeted via @adventvega this afternoon. We want the experience to be as simple and reliable as possible. We will tweet as soon as it is available. Thanks. Flash Update: standalone update app going though final testing today. We expect this to be released via myadventvega.co.uk tomorrow. Will update this thread when it finally goes live. :D
Guest MonkeyBoy451 Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 @adventvega has now tweeted details of the Flash Updater. Hi. Couple of updates. Due to changes in the base image, a standalone flash install is not currently available for images older than 1.09 However we have created a quick guide to help with the upgrade to 1.09 whilst keeping your settings intact - http://bit.ly/hMBQzp We have also released a Flash Update application. This will ensure you are running the latest version. Again this will require 1.09 or later Flash Updater APK Link: http://www.myadventvega.co.uk/flashupdater...ater-v1.0.1.apk v1.09 Update Install Guide Link: http://www.myadventvega.co.uk/Advent_Vega_...ation_Guide.pdf

Guest English Haze Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 Well, that's a real shame. I don't want to install 1.09 as I'm quite happy with Paul's new custom ROM. I just hope he will have time to include this in the kitchen when he returns.
Guest Tainlorn Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 Yes, i thought they were releasing an update for those of us that didnt want to do a full flash. Oh well, fingers crossed for an update when Paul gets back. Im happy with how everything runs at the moment, apart from loosing audio sync on iPlayer, hoping this update will fix it!

Hi I cannot delete the old flash using the vega flash updater. In the applications manager if i click adobe flash 10.1 it says that it cannot compute the size. All options are greyed out. How can i remove it manually?
