Official Vega Flash (1.09) Seems unstable???

Has anyone else played much with the new flash, Stock or with a rom upgrade (Only interested if you are sure its using the official vega flash release)

I've been playing with both to make sure it wasn't my rom (r8a) update that was causing the issues.

For instance if I play the Armour Game called Flight it sometime works, and sometimes I get a white screen with an explanation mark displayed in it.

Other times it just locks up. When it does work it's great, the performance is clearly better that the unofficial release.

Also websites like mycatchuptv.com are a bit unreliable where previously it was working fine.

However the quality of the BBC iPlayer has improved loads, and the saving on the battery life is good to see.

I get the same symptons on both the offical stock rom 1.09 and my rom patch, even if it's to confirm the same issues I have.

So please let me know if you've had any issues, if you have I will try and inform the vega team, all though I know they check in here quite alot anyway.

Interesting I just had the exclamation mark on a white screen whilst investigating a problem with the www.hbo.com website which Nosferatu was getting and it even crashed my Vega twice. I'm on r7 ROM with MCK-r2 kernel.

If you'd like to delve further I'd recommend the thread I suggested to Nosferatu here as a number of people seem to be having issues not only with the above website but Flash in general.

Must say though apart from that one website I can't say I've had any problems with it myself.

I'm using the r6 rom and flash is unusable for me, I reverted back to the flash that Paul put on the custom rom.

I installed 1.09 and flash works ok, installed R8a rom from Dan Holliday and flash still working ok, restore my applications via titanium back up (not restore flash one) and still works, continue using my vega and suddenly stop working flash and having randoms unresponsive touch screen problems, have reinstalled the flash version extracted form 1.09 and not working at all, at last have installed the one from the market, that one that said not install with Tegra 2, and works again. So I´m going to install 1.08 and rom R8 from Paul and wait for the Lite update to 1.09 from Vega and see if there is any improvements. Right now with 1.09 random touch screen problem is very annoying.

Yep thats pretty much what I had. Althought it did eventually give up even with out R8a installed. :D
