San Francisco completely dead after 2 days?

I got my San Francisco and flashed it a few days ago, everything was fine. This morning I was listening to some music on it and then put it away in my pocket, I get it out a few minutes later and it's not responding at all. I'm pretty sure it didn't sustain any major damage in that time. No matter what I press (volume buttons on power on etc.) I get no response from anything, including vibration. I've tried taking out the battery and charging it but other than getting warm nothing happens. Before I give in and start looking at returning it (and as I haven't even registered with Orange yet that should be fun) is there anything else I can try?

how long have you removed the battery for?

I had a similar thing, but removing the battery (whilst unplugged) and leaving it out for a few minutes sorted it.

you may have to reflash the stock orange, but youd need to have a live phone for that...

but if you return it dead then they cant check the os. and if you say it was a present then you could just say you cant start the unit?
