[Help] Orange rom to portuguese

I'm new here and I need some help :/

I've been reading the posts about updating the omnia roms but I'm still with some problems, I have 2 omnia and in one of them I've an french rom from orange and I want to put the official portuguese rom of windows 6.1 or an stable portuguese rom without being official. And in the other I want to put a 6.5 rom from here but I dont know what to choose and if I can directly run te .exe file to upgrade it.

Depende do windows que usas... XP podes usar .exe, é so seguires os tuturiais que anda por aqui, aconselho-te a ROM do mureta. é brazil mas esta muito boa.

Se usas Vista ou Seven tens que desmontar o .exe pra usar com o GrandPrix, tb tens tuturial por aqui.

Depends on what windows you are ... XP can use. exe, just follow the tutorials that are around here, I advise you the ROM of Muretal. Its Brazil ROM but this is very good.

If you use Vista or Seven you have to disassemble the . exe for use with GrandPrix, also have general tutorial here.

Boas, obrigado pela resposta ja andei a ver esses tutoriais e ja vi como funciona agora o meu problema e so encontrar as roms certas. Só mais uma duvida, a radio destes telemoveis influencia as roms? lembro me quando tinha os HTC que tinha verificar mas neste sinceramente nao sei.

the radio version in these phones influences the roms? I remember when I had the HTC

had to check this but honestly in omnia I do not know.

You don't need to update the radio rom, but it is advised to do so. I've only updated my radio rom once from the default one (can't remember the version) to the dxid1

that i'm still using today. never had any problems with it, 3g and hsdpa works great with vodafone Portugal, wi-fi never gave me problems, and battery life is decent.

Do you really need your system rom to be in Portuguese? There are a few good roms in Portuguese, but in English you have a lot more choices

and you can still use a Portuguese keyboard and dictionary in an English rom too.

For me ock's roms are the most balanced btw stability, available resources, and included software.

I would also advise you to flash using a xp machine if possible. I've flashed my phone a dozen times using the .exe roms in xp and never had a single failure or problem.

i've never used grandprix but from the feedback i've read in the forums it seems more prone to problems...
