using new memory card-retain all, how?

I apologise if this has been asked before, I did a quick search and coul'nt find the answer.

I want to switch from my 4GB micro sd to my new 8GB so i copied everything over to the new memory card and rebooted but loads missing :D

will i have to just reinstall everything?

Whats missing? Apps? Did you do A2SD+(involves partitioning, you'd know for def if you did) or have you used the built in move to sd button?
