After using pulse for a year, few months ago made a swap from 2 pulses (wifes and mine) to blade and desire,

thought i would still use pulse occasionaly but...

Anyway, just wanted to write quick summary for you guys waiting for upgrade.

1) Pulse

Price was right, great lcd, touch was very responsive, community is great

BUT it was soooo slow and in many ways unusable, time after time i couldnt find contact or use phone because everything freezed and basically that is why I changed it

2) Blade

Nice price, really good phone, much much faster then pulse, no freezes whatsoever, everything works as it should, and community is alse there (now with official CM7). The light and proximity sensors are musthave.

Everything I found bad on the pulse is great here.

BUT I find the touch less responsive and as the screen is physically smaller (phone is narrower then pulse) it is harder to use softkeyboard (it makes that up in the speed of key response vs pulse, though)

3) Desire

Well this is just higher class phone, cpu is great, screen is great, touch is great.

BUT - the price was double then the blade and i dont find it 2x better.

My contract is up in April, and I was expecting a next generation of Android phones from the Desire / Galaxy S to be established by then. Looks like I'll probably end up with a Desire HD. :D The wife has a Desire, and although it's nice and quick, she's had quite a bit of trouble with it.
