I have two questions:

How do I remove/hide the notification bar? I saw some screenshots that didn't have any notification bar.

Is it possible to remove just the clock in the notificatino bar? I found this link but I don't know if it will work on my phone.

I am using custom rom FLB r9.

IT WORKS!!!!1

http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-r...cation-bar.html

Just followed instructions above with the addition of this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=549309 for finding services.jar

very simple procedure, almost can't mess it up. just search for

invoke-direct {p0}, Lcom/android/server/status/StatusBarPolicy;->updateClock()V

and change the first of the two entries. (the one with line number 4xx, not 1xx)

Has anyone had success using any of the above to successfully hide the notification bar clock?

Yes, it can be done using launcher pro in the appearance settings https://market.android.com/details?id=com.f...e=search_result

Hi thanks for the reply, I already have Launcher pro installed but I can only see a setting to hide the whole notification bar? All I want to do is remove the time in the top right hand corner as I have a clock widget installed and the homescreen just looks a bit naff with two clocks :unsure:
