Guest nikic Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 Hi! I have a "strange" problem with my Pulse and home WLAN. I can connect on my WLAN only on first attempt after router has been rebooted! After that first connection, I cannot connect on that WLAN again (it's remembered and password is saved). My Pulse constantly giving message Connecting... Disconnected. I know that problem is in my router but I can't figure what is blocking my Pulse from WLAN registration... other two computers are also WLAN connected and they never had a problem. Any advice? Thanks!

Guest nikic Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 We can't help if you don't tell us the details... What ROM, settings, etc..? Yep, you are absolutely right, I didn't provide any technical information regarding my setup... It is Pulse U8220 with CyanogenMod 6.1 Beta 0.40 with default Wi-fi settings and WLAN is protected with WPA2-PSK. Problem occurs only on my home WLAN (ISP Iskon with albis router) Recently I was staying in hotel where I successfully connect to their Wi-fi without a problem. Thank you!

I also have cm 6.1 and I can connect to my wifi network without any problems. So I guess it has to be something with your router settings...
Guest Boony123 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 remove the password from your wifi router an see if you can connect, if so try a different protection type if you can.
Guest AntonioPT Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Does you router restrict access to certain MAC adresses?
Guest eckengucker1 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 statical or dynamical IP assignment? Try to switch it statical and disable the restricted MAC address access
Guest nikic Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 statical or dynamical IP assignment? Try to switch it statical and disable the restricted MAC address access Well, I will try to answer all of you in one post! MAC filtering is turned off so this is not a problem. I tried with static IP address but that didn't help neither. But strange is that I CAN CONNECT on WLAN (with present settings) after router has been rebooted....
