Most people are affected by it, and so far there's no solution. If it really annoys you, just disable sensor auto-rotation.

It may sound absurd but I installed Android Assistant a couple of days ago, since then I didn´t experience any problems with auto rotation anymore.. it also frees ~10mb more ram than advanced task killer
Guest randor48 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 @houzey: please explain precisely . I want to know all :) thanks
Guest houzey Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 @houzey: please explain precisely . I want to know all :P thanks  I can´t go in further detail yet, cause of my lack of android knowledge and cause I don´t know what causes this issue.. but I will read into it asap.. :) I can only assume that it stops some kind of "auto rotation service/process" and force it to restart.. The only thing I can tell by now is that android assistant is way better and bulkier than any other task killer I know.
Guest houzey Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 I found this: http://www.androidpeople.com/android-how-t...n-change-issue/ sounds logical to me (as non android dev ) it says that on every orientation change it creates a new instance of the method, wich fills memory hope I didnt missunderstand the issue cheers,
Guest randor48 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 the Android Assistant is not no more available in the android market, right ?
