Hi there,

I got stuk at the following step:

# Hit the Recovery tab - Choose Install Recovery

# If you have more than one IMG file on the sdcard you will be presented with a list - choose recovery-clockwork-blade-2.5.1.8.img

I did all the above steps, i have the "installing icon" with the turning circle working for about 15 minutes.

Some times, the phone goes in sleep mode

Is this normal?

Hope you can help!

Thank you!

This is not normal :D

Try using the fastboot method to install clockwork, its the way I did it.

i tried the fastboot install method from this topic (http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blade-blade-modaco-com/319156/winxp-7-zte-blade-drivers-and-adb/)

but again, something went wrong

I tried everything (normal install and fastboot) all over, nothing changed

I bought the phone on ebay, so he isn't "new"

I just plugged in my sim card, nothing else

can I do anything else ?

ok, making some progress

recovery went well, after several tries (reboot, other sd card)

now, the step: Choose Install Firmware - Not the firmware update, doesn't go very well

it says: "error, you need to install a custom firmware before you can install a new firmware!"

apparently, the currently installed firmware is de-Oranganated vr5

anyone can help me?
