Guest Pittsey Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Is it possible to stream movies from the USB stick to the Vega? I haven't got it working yet. I have set the USB mode to host. And it detects the stick. But doesn't detect the video.

I used DVDfab to rip the DVDs in Ipad format and they play straight from the USB and really smoothly. Sounds like your video file type is not compatible? Regards Steve

Guest hitchikr Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Thanks. Using handbrake to convert to mp4. Will report back. It works fine on mine, the USB drive has to formated to fat32 though I believe, wont work otherwise. Hope this helps. Paul
Guest MaxiP Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Try using mVideoPlayer as it allows you to specify which folders to search / index for your media e.g. /mnt/usb/system_usb/movies Also allows you to download cover art for media & folders.
