Music on my motorbike . Please help

I use a bluetooth helmet on my motorbike.

Through it, I use music, sat nav and the phone.

When I am listening to music and recieve a call, after the call finishes I loose sound from the music.

On the screen the music bar is still scrolling across but there is no sound, from the helmet or the phone.

I have not tested the sat nav, at the moment music is my priority.

The Streak is kept in my topbox when in use.

My old Nokia E61 could keep all three functions running, cutting music for calls and sat nav instructions,

then playing again after.

I have a stock Streak on 2.2, I looked at rooting but chickened out.

Can anyone please sugest settings or aps that would help.

I am a novice and my searches have turned up nothing.

have you got a talk button on the helmet?

I've had no issues with two different headsets, then the other day had same issue with a bluetooth speaker that handles talking, pressed the talk button amf music came back on.

Still no idea why it works fine with 2 and not with the other

No talk button.

Volume by rocking left and right.

Button press, long press to recall last number and short press to end call.

That's all the buttons.
