Guest musclebai Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 got streak exchanged 3 times within 30 days from bestbuy.dell sent me two replacements afterwards.the battery wont charge nor does any of the 5 laptops i tried recognize the streak.otherwise the phone works perfectly till battery dies and i an left with a paperweight..:D.any help or tips anyone?
Guest fards Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Wow! odds of that happening are pretty remote, but I wonder if you'd just ben v unlucky or theres a duff batch bathing sold through best buy? Seems even more odd that dell have sent out one a well, have you tried charging it atime where else in case theres a bad electricity supply? Im presuming here that they are sending out a new cable and charger each time?
Guest musclebai Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 dell didnt send me a charger yet.best buy replaced everything including charger 3 times...it works for about a week...and bam goes dead.first dell replaced the device..didnt work...then they did device 5 + battery .+ now they are sending me a charger.but i highly doubt whether this will help as my computer says device not recognized with the old usb cable

Guest popetodd Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Not necessarily. Replace the cable first, as you have already replaced the phone several times but not the cable I would tend to think the cable itself is the fault.

UPDATE guys gr8 news...after 5 strea sthe new usb cable and carger did the trick .my streak is charging now! thnx for all the help.hope this tip helps some one left in the dark!
