Backing up orginal ROM

Hi there,

this is my first post. Been reading in the forum since I got my Dell Streak and finally registered because I want to install Streakmod. Right now I just rooted my device with z4root.

I would like to backup my original 2.2 ROM first and read about Nandroid / Clockwork. Tried to find some useful help on how to do it but got no luck or old and confusing forum links.

Could you guys please point me in the right direction or post a simple tutorial on how to do it?
