i can confirm that issue. (CM61-Pulse0.40-f0.3.zip)

if i install without dta2sd it restarts when i install any app.

wiped, formated system, etc. based on uk 2.1.

when i install it with dta2sd it works.

I also had this issue when I first installed CM (0.30 version I believe). Since then I always installed DT a2sd after flashing CM and never had it again.

Hmm, that's interesting. I really have no idea why, but it is interesting to know the problem exists.

By running logcat before the reboot we could see what was going on to cause that problem. If anyone is willing to re-install 0.40 stock and do that, nice, if not I'll do it myself this week.

If i install gapps from AIO on any another rom then all applications are installed without rebooting.

its because theres not enough space left on the internal partition. The same problem occurred for my weeks ago but I could fix it with pushing cache to the memory card (cachesd)

Same issue here...prefer not to use A2SD due to my slow class 2 card.

Changing CM app settings to internal doesn't work either

Edit:

I can confirm this solves the problem!

Yep, because these gapps are smaller than the other ones. Same effect as moving the cache...

You have to install a2sd if you want to move the dalvik cache to the sd card.

why dont u use link2sd? you mentioned in another thread? for me it works pretty good. i dont like dta2sd, cause for me it lags a little. i dont know why. maybe its the kernel with the demand settings.

after using cm4.0 now i use the german 2.1 and link2sd. the phone is very responsive.

I have the same issue with my Pulse. What I don't understand is, why is the phone out of internal storage when my phone is reporting 37.71 MB free? Is it the way the internal storage is partitioned?

I'm going to try installing DTa2sd.
