Orange San Franciso problem - cannot wake up?

Hi,

I am new to the forum but after googling seems to be the best place for my problem.

I got a Orange San Francisco last week and its absolutely great, except about once a day i cannot wake up the device.

I push the power button at the top of the device and the screen does not turn on. Clicking any of the 3 buttons at the bottom makes the phone vibrate but still nothing.

The only way to use the phone once this has happened is to take the battery out and put it back then. Then the phone is fine until the next time. I should add this happens even with lots of battery life left.

Any ideas? have i a faulty device? It is completed unmodded / at factory defaults in case anyone asks

I would just recommend getting a replacement, especially as you have not modded it.

Its the fastest and most hassle free way, IMO.

If not, I'm sure one of the wonderful people on the forum could help you :D

I'd agree with vermat, take it back. It's only a week old, unmodded & doesn't work, take it back before you do anything that could possibly let Orange blame you for your phone not working.
