how do i get lower volume and cyanogen?

Ok, my volume is way too loud even at the lowest settings when I just want to listen to music in bed etc...

Are there any apps/roms or anything that can help make the volume lower ?

Also can someone explain to me what is cyanogen and how do u even pronounce it lol?

I've read through some threads in the rom section and is it just a 2.3 gingerbread roms for our phone?? I know cyanogen is really popular in android but I am really confused lol.

What is the difference between cyanogen and something like the rom Im using atm such as the jellygish rls7?! just the gingerbread v froyo?

Also there used to be a CM7 rom that used to be in the forum but I cant find it anymore? Now there is only a CM7 nightly rom which is not recommended for daily use etc so I dont think I should install that.

You don't look very hard do you?

There is a search button at the top on the right that actually works!

You can get more specific replies if you press it then click where it says More Search Options.

However I didn't even use it - I just looked at the posts IN the ROM section and found the 2 most relevant posts to your questions

All I had to do was look down and then press the numbers at the bottom of the page to go to the next page and lo and behold I found

Read them and see if you can find your answers, if not then ask the question in the thread most relevant to your question.

btw the cm7 rom you mentioned is more unstable than the nightlies - it's older.

As to your volume being too loud while in bed I suggest you use earphones,

And for those that are going to comment - I was being kinda hard - too many people ask questions that the answers could be found by simply using the search button, or even looking at the thread titles and then actually reading some of the posts in those threads that seem like they may fit the question/query

not the ideal solution but perhaps headphones with a volume slider?
