Foolishly I bought an ipad case thinking they'd be roughly the same size. They're not. So I am now looking for a new case. Anyone got one? Where from?

I bought the PC world case, which at £29.99 is a rip-off, however as we have tiled floors downstairs, I'm paranoid about stuff like this falling on floor and screen smashing ! We had a 7inch Android tablet which slid out of the open side of its case and smashed on the floor, so I have applied some strips of black gaffer tape to the side of the advent case to stop the same thing happening!

Theres a code to get it for 19.99. Waiting on mine to be delivered

I use the Advent case. It's not the best of cases and certainly doesn't compare to the kind of quality you would expect from a tuff-luv case or similar but it does the job.

As with barnston, I bought the case from PC World the day they came into stock (full bloody price). It is ok... but the tablet has slipped out more times than I thought it would. If I was looking to buy now, I would buy cheap and wait to see what comes out with the Zoom.

I got one of these untill there's a decent keyboard case for it. Only £3.39

As previously discussed in another thread, I got a case very similar to this one in Poundland for guess what price...

I am now using the proper (discounted) Vega case - it's OK, but could have been so much better - strap to hold Vega in, better stand for viewing on a table etc.

You can get them cheaper from China if you want to wait, quality is actually pretty good, mine has had a lot of use as I travel with work and not showing any signs of wear and tear. The prop stand works well. Drawbacks are that the camera is covered (not an issue for me) and you can't access the USB port with the vega in the case. May have to 'modify' it to remedy that as want to plug in my 3G dongle. (also if you put in in upside down and use a non standard launcher and video player all the ports are accessible as well)

I got my mum to knit me a sleeve. Fits perfectly and has a fold back cover to keep my vega snug

Stops it getting scratched in my bag.

Agree with above. I only paid £19.99 but to be honest £4.99 would be too much. The case is pretty useless and it looks and feels cheap.

Made my own, duck tape and a padded envelope - used this instruction video from Navyball here

Very rarely take it out of the house anyway so this will do for me and is obviously a good tailored fit too.

bought this for mine, hasn't arrived yet so can't comment on the fit.

I bought the exact same one just the other day from a place called JellyEgg.com - absolute bargain at £6.99.

Looks like they're out of stock at the minute though.

Just so you know it fits perfectly.

I wanted something with a bit more resistance against knocks... certainly does that.

got mine today and it's a nice case, padded and well made, would rather have paid £6.99 but it's still worth the money at full price

I use one of the cheapy neoprene 10" slip cases with the foam sheet that came in the original vega box popped in there too. Simple and effective, although I'm now tempted with that leather case posted above...

That leather case also appeals (if it really IS leather - many I've looked at are synthetic). The only thing thing stopping me from buying is that the corner straps might interfere with the volume and other buttons - can someone who owns one definitively answer this?

Sorry to drag up an old thread...

Just had an email from SVP advertising the same pakuma case as I have for £7.95... Better than Amazons £23
