Guest brambr Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Hi, I'm kind of new to the Android world. A month ago i got a T-Mobile Pulse with the december update on it. After some reading on the internet i decided to put a custom ROM on my device (the Vanilla Style). I followed all the steps and did a reboot. The new interface appeared but i couldn't unlock my screen: my touchscreen didn't react anymore. I restored my old system with the nand backup i made, tried again and same problem. Today i tried installing the Stock T-Mobile Style ROM and partitioned my SD card and then rebooted. But again my touchscreen didn't work. I wanted to restore to the old thing but it didn't work. He couldn't find the nand map on my sd card. When i got the sd card out of my device and into my pc-card reader it didn't recognise my SD card. Now it does recognise it but it's empty. So I don't have my nand backup anymore (i only had it on my sd card!) So now when I start up i can't unlock my phone because the touchscreen doesn't work and I can't go back because i can't acces my nand backup ... What should I do? Can I get a nand backup from another phone or how can I make my phone work again ??? Thanks
Guest brambr Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 (edited) and when i try to flash zip from sdcard it says: E: No signature (2 files) E: Verification Failed Edited February 22, 2011 by brambr

Guest gocegi Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Just update to the official UK 2.1, and you will be fine. Read first, before you post, you MUST have a 2.1 OFFICIAL update, first, then install a custom rom, dude. Hope you'll get it right this time. Cheers

Guest brambr Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 (edited) everything works again guess it was kind of stupid question but i paniced thanks for helping me out anyway, I'm glad my device works again. But does this mean I will never be able to run a custom ROM ? Because i again tried to install one but AGAIN the touchscreen wasn't working. So put everything back again and i'm running the december update again ... Edited February 22, 2011 by brambr
