Guest m29 Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Hi, Have your R9 version installed on my HTC Desire phone + APP2SD . Before I installed it, I pretty much deleted everything. This includes my SD-CARD - formatted and allocated with the default values (32,512,rest). Cleared every possible cache form the recovery menu. Started from clean. installed R9 and started to install my applications and games. Now, I have this"Low on space", "Phone Storage space is getting low" message. Obviously, I said to myself, phone memory is filled. Odd I have to admit, since the amount of games/apps I have installed is MUCH lower than before the R9 (had R8) and there was no such message and I could go on and install more and more applications. opened the SD & phone storage to see what's going on. Here are the numbers: Total space : 6.88GB Available space : 3.15GB Internal phone storage: available space 8.96 MB. Ok I figured, not that much, but I can still install a lousy 652K application can't I ? well. No I can't. Tried to install one just to get "Out of space" message. First, what's going on ? 9 MB is not a lot I agree, but I can't install a 652K app now ? Second, trying to see who's the criminal taking up my space, I get (size desc): IGO - 34 MB - I imagine I can't do s*** here. "Move to SD card" is grayed out. Contacts Storage - 13.4 MB. What ???, this is a basic android application. How come I can't move it to the SD Card and how come it's taking so much memory ? Mail of HTC - 5.28M. Again, what is this ? 5MB ? it keeps all the emails in memory ??? any assistance will be appreciated.
