i wonder if its possible to keep the softkeys backlight on.

i cant see them at night and find it a little annoying

anyone else have this problem ?

The same thought had occurred to me.

I wonder if it is possible to control the brightness? The backlight wouldn't need to be at 100% all the time: it could drop to say 10%.

I'll add my vote to this .. low brightness at all times might hurt the battery a little, but would be very convenient :huh:

It should be possible to program. I'm using an app called Screen Filter on my HTC Sensation which is able to dim the brightness as well as turn off the soft key backlight, since they are very bright in the darkness and always on by default on the Sensation.
